CareTracker Partners is a national distributor of health IT solutions to physicians, hospital systems, and state and national associations. It has partnered with Ingenix to distribute Caretracker, a leading practice management and electronic medical records system.
The Ingenix CareTracker system saves physicians time and money by helping them enter, retrieve and correlate important clinical knowledge and patient medical information at the point of care. The system features connections to thousands of labs, hospitals, pharmacies and commercial and government health plans, and fully integrates with all of the operational functions of a physician practice, simplifying administrative tasks such as billing, scheduling and documentation. The system also helps physicians conduct medication and allergy verification and interaction checks, electronic prescribing and quality measurement and reporting. CareTracker is an ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 Certified and CCHIT Certified® ambulatory electronic medical record (EMR) system. CareTracker’s “cloud-based architecture differentiates it from many traditional EMRs. “Cloud-based” means that it resides on secure servers with redundancy in locations across the country, and is accessed through the internet much like the banking and stock brokerage systems. CareTracker is a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution to which physicians subscribe rather than purchase.
